My English Language Experience

The English class in the University is one of those classes that I do not want to have, I find that English is of the typical subjects "cuts heads".The majority of the students, it does not matter, the university career,  They are behind a year or more for English class and end up having only English to be able to graduate. Obviously, there are students who do well in English, either because they are studious and have good grades in all their classes or because they have an English base at a higher level than the rest, I mean an elite education, which has no comparison to the English they taught me at school. English, in my opinion, is an elitist class, is not for all the same, although the class is divided into several stages of learning, basic, intermediate and advanced, , If you had a bad base in the school, it is very difficult to learn another language in the university or to leave talking and writing as your partner who studies in an elite school, even if it is a secondary branch.

With respect to the classes, make videos and write a blog need time, I never wrote a blog or made a video in Spanish, which is my native language and I still find it very difficult, should not be so strict with the times, I can`t find the meaning, The important thing is to do it and not to do it fast by complying .

Now,  I use English to interpret some simple texts and translate them into Spanish and to understand some songs.

Changes to my study programme and university

It would be good to integrate or re-form the curriculum of visual arts, where people with Down Syndrome have participation . Since they have creativity, ability to interpret, sensitivity, understanding, are basic skills and requirements to form an artist . For me to have Down Syndrome is not an inability to be professional.

As for the installations, the university is not enabled for people with some type of disability, lack infrastructure with universal accessibility, that is to say to have spaces that can be accessible to all type of person without differentiating of his physical or mental capacities . For example, there have been cases of wheelchair students to which several students have to help him up the stairs.

In the last year, a new standard was implemented, in which students can not enter vehicles and park in the institution, only the officials can park. I do not agree, in previous years if you could park in the university, there were never any problems. Should provide facilities for students who live farther away or in rural areas and use this means of transport as we do not have Transantiago. The university should not limit the possibilities of transportation, because the space is there and now there are plenty of parking.

They also reduced some zones of green areas, to make more classrooms . The green areas were a meeting place, where we shared instances with other colleagues, now no one knows or shares, go directly to the class to do their thing and then leave. Sociavilize is very important for training people with values.

my next summer holidays

Holidays in San Andres Island, Colombia

Various friends have told me about the island of San Andrés in Colombia as a good destination to go on a trip , I want to go and see with my own eyes if everything they have told me is true.

I was researching some tips of places and activities to do or visit . Some people say that the island is small and runs in four days while other people say that eight days is the minimum to be able to do everything. I would not go for less since the trip is long. It seems to be something normal that visitors to the island, tour the island on motorcycle or golf carts that can be leased daily , something almost impossible to do here in Santiago.

The island is famous for its seas of seven colors and its marine fauna. I think there are activities that I would not miss and I would only live once in my life, being there in San Andres, for example swimming with manta rays, diving, snorkeling, feeding fish in their natural environment with shallow crystalline waters. The places to do these activities are the island the aquarium and Johny cay. They take you by boat and from there you can walk by the water among the goldfish and take pictures with the manta rays. It sounds so good and paradisiacal.

Another activity that I like to do is parasailing looks like the photo . Definitely this island is a good choice for lovers of nature and sport like me.

My childhood anecdote

Memory of my childhood was when I went for a walk with my mother, for example: going out to eat somewhere or a museum, I told him not to tell me that it was his baby or things like that, I thought I was an adult. I was 8 years old, it was something Very funny to see a child behaving like an adult, my mother told me old boy, when we were going to buy something I liked to pay my things having 8 years I asked the money to my mother to pay me things bought.
Once we went to eat ice cream with my mother when I had 10 years to a cafeteria and when we asked for the letter to choose the flavors, I said do not worry ask what you want I pay the bill, being that I was a child who did not have Where to make money, but had a very strange adult attitude. Well actually all my childhood behavior was an anecdote, was a very funny and out of the ordinary kid, always dreaming that he was older and things like that.
I even remember having a girlfriend at age 10 with whom I gave my first kiss and said that we were getting married and having a family, crazy things for a boy of 10 years. These are my anecdotes when children in general was a joke everything that towards the truth now and being adult I laugh a lot of the memories of my childhood and my behavior inappropriate for my age.

my future job

The future in my opinion, is always something uncertain, something we can have expectations, but not a security, to talk about the future I would have to talk about my present.
Now I am a student of plastic arts, I am in my senior year, aim to graduate, it is assumed.
If I passed English 4 I could become a visual artist and with that title I would opt for some work as an art teacher or some artistic workshop.
While in college, studying visual arts, I learned in parallel, the art of tattooing and body modification.
Today I am tattooing in a small workshop that I have in a room in my house, there are my works, I draw and paint my designs. I have a list of monthly clients, the truth the work of tattoo artist is quite profitable.
In the future I would like to set up my shop for supplies and tattoos. To work more professionally and independently.
In the future I would also like to become more involved in the subject of art therapy, I am very interested in the subject of art along with helping people overcome some problem, or simply as art as therapy.
The truth is my future is uncertain, the only thing I have clear is that I play all the cards, to continue living art independently, without depending on any employer or any company.
In conclusion I only hope that the work of my future has to do somehow with the humanities and the arts.

My favorite movie

One of my favorite films is "Santa sangre" a 1989 Mexican film written and directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky. The film is famous for its replete blend of magical symbology, psychoanalytic references and deep mystical tone, for which it lends itself to a serious philosophical-psychological analysis. It narrates some episodes of the adolescence and adulthood of Fénix and its relation with its mother Concha and its father Orgo, all a family dedicated to the circus spectacle.

When he was small, Phoenix lived in a circus of which his father was the owner (besides the thrower of knives). Concha was the priestess of a church that worshiped as a saint a girl whose arms were ripped from her while they raped her.
The arrival of a tattooed woman at the circus (along with her protégé, the deaf-muffled balancing actress Alma) and the infidelities that the father of Phoenix plays in his company, combined with the demolition of Concha's church, end up with the patience of the woman, who Attacks her husband and is mutilated by him, who commits suicide before the Phoenix soon after.
Now, Phoenix is a young man in a psychiatric ward. They show how having a problematic family can completely damage the psyche of the subject, in this case the son of two sick parents, corrupted by their ideals, the mother crazy for a religion she invented herself, and the father blinded by his carnal desire And lust. In my opinion is a very interesting and versatile film to see with time, I liked the cinema of this Chilean artist, recognized by the whole world thanks to his management and intellect, is a great Alejandro Jodorowsky.

i hate traditional school

Uniformed education.

In general i hated school completely wearing a uniform to match the appearance of all frustated me.
I hate waking up al 6am. every day to arrive at 8am.
Sing the national anthem like every monday in the lineup they did in the yard.
I hate the school system in general.
But hating a subject, the truth the classes i liked a lot, i was not bad with the professors, i think all the subject i liked.
The experience of occupying school uniform i think is the worst thing that has happened to me, the experience of occupying
occupying the short hair as a school education norm also displeases me.
i dislike that they care so much about the mind, what student personal appearance in the school, rather than the mind.

Instead of worrying about the mind, what students think of as the main topic, at school they worried more if you were in uniform, if you fulfilled the hours rather than teaching.
The education in the school would be much better if they stopped worrying about the appearance of the students, if they want to go with long hair and shorts, should not be a problem to enter the school, unfortunately the vast majority of schools worry much of the uniform and very little of mental education.

My best holidays

My best vacations have been in my country of origin (Chile) traveling from the capital (santiago) heading north
going all the coast from beach to Atacama where i take the times to travel all the desert camping on the sand
under the stars and their constellations.

There i saw many lifestyles nomads and sedentary people who lived in the middle of the desert alone without
anyone or anything without ligth without water in species of improvised tents with survived with the it can
bring the travelers left them marrying birds and animals and insects. They were very terror of their lives but
they looked happy that seemed incredible.
it was like seeing the human in its primitive essence alive and wild in the desert.
The beaches of Atacama are paradisiacas i saw many huge fif once on a desert beach i saw fishermen take a Tuna
of more than 2 meters in length, i had the image of the tuna like normal fish but this was a tuna giant and all people
went out to celebrate the fate of this old fishermen for his fishing of the tuna of more than 2 meters were unforgettable
experiences.
