Discrimination in Chile!

To start talking about racial discrimination to the foreigners in Chile, who had mostly come from Haiti, Peru and Colombia, we must talk about the reality of the country.

I have friends that are teachers and they have told me that, at least, the half of their students are foreigners. That show us that the number of immigrants is increasing day by day in our county and I think that the issue of discrimination is given more by subject of the socio-cultural status of somebody than by where this person comes from, I mean that when the cultural legacy of somebody is higher than the common people, they often discriminate against you. Just knowing more than others, or having a different way of thinking is enough for being discriminated.

It is difficult to socialize with ignorant people, with people who think that brute force predominates more than the mind, and unfortunately the money society is like that. If you do not have studies, you are a worker, a cheap labor for business owners with a high social status, and they discriminate against you because of that.

To have less culture than another person should not affect in social treatment, but if it does.

But there is also another type of discrimination, the economic discrimination. There are many people who discriminate the other only because they are poor, the wealthy people discriminate against the poor people. The rich discriminate against the poor, the thin people discriminate against the fat, and the poor discriminate against the rich.

There is no acceptance in people when the neighbor is very different, this discrimination comes from our ancestors indians. When humanity had tribes instead of society, they met either because of their physical similarity or similar thinking.

Without a doubt discrimination is a setback in humanity, only leads us to form tribes, to disunity, leads us to war between us. I do not stop thinking that the issue of discrimination is a strategy of the powerful to keep the people in a constant war, thus keeping us busy killing each other, not thinking that we really must kill discrimination.

Chile Bilingue

I think that I am part of a generation of transition, because I was born in the late 80's.

My generation, in general, is a mixture between the handwork and technology. The same happens with the language, for my generation is much more difficult to integrate to this new bilingual Chile, but this does not happen to young people who were born from 2000 onwards, they are much linked to the technology and, so that, more linked to another language.

Nowadays for necessity issues, as controlling the technology and new computer programs, we have been forced to learn English, as the new generations.

In the case of education in Chile, with the reform of 2011, all study programs are obligated to impart the English language as an obligatory Subject of the new reform.

For example, my father is a 59 years-old-man who does not know anything about English, because in his times the study programs did not include the English language as obligatory subject, and for all the generation of "old parents" too. Even, I dare to say that 90% of people of that generation do not know English. Of course, this is only my opinion.

This reality of the language in Chile has changed over the time, because of the massive arrival of technology, immigrants and new programs of education, I think that, 50% of young Chileans between the ages of 20 and 30  know English or, at least, handles a few of the language.

I think that English in Chile has not good quality, but as the education and technology has grown, the English has improved greatly these last decades and I hope it continues improving, since this language is a very useful tool to globalize our culture.

Trump the new Hitler?

U.S.A likes having the control of the world, and it practically rules each country of America.
Being Trump the new president of this nation, it is obvious that something has to change, it could be possible that the price of the dollar raises up, therefor everything that is basic for living would raise too and, as consequence, the cost of the life will raise too. Also it is possible that he will limit the foreigners' entrance to his country, and also it would begin the third World War against the Jews, well but all of these ideas are just speculations, and they may not be true at all. Also, it could be possible that this guy is sick and tired of so many Wars and chooses a better option.

The truth is that everything can happen! But, what could really change the world? The world's surrender to the Oil Companies, the World Banks and the Vaticano! They are who actually dominate the world, big powerful. They are who can really change the world, not the presidents.

My special song.

A song that has a meaning for me, is of a few French brothers' band who do rock metal, this band is called "Gojira".

Gojira is a band that has a short career path, but its songs have very much sociocultural content, especially this important song named "Global Warming". It is about the sense of the life, of the wrong thing that the humanity is because it does not have respect by the nature and its ecosystem.

The song talks about the global warming, of the destruction that generates the capitalism and its big industries with the smoke of the factories in the sky, the drought of the rivers for the Mines, the pollution of the ocean because of Oil Companies, in consequence, everything that the ambition of the human being carries out.

"Gojira" invites us to think on the consciousness of the life! What is the sense of having money, if it takes the destruction to us? The real sense of the life is to feel that your eyes are the glaciers, your heart the ocean and your flesh is the land. The real sense of the life is the absolute connection with the nature, the respect and the love for everything that surrounds us, for everything that was already before the humanity ruled the land.
This is a reflection of the French artists, which I share so much, with a very similar thought that I have before knowing this pretty band of rock metal.

I hope you like the song!
