A song that has a meaning for me, is of a few French brothers' band who do rock metal, this band is called "Gojira".
Gojira is a band that has a short career path, but its songs have very much sociocultural content, especially this important song named "Global Warming". It is about the sense of the life, of the wrong thing that the humanity is because it does not have respect by the nature and its ecosystem.
The song talks about the global warming, of the destruction that generates the capitalism and its big industries with the smoke of the factories in the sky, the drought of the rivers for the Mines, the pollution of the ocean because of Oil Companies, in consequence, everything that the ambition of the human being carries out.
"Gojira" invites us to think on the consciousness of the life! What is the sense of having money, if it takes the destruction to us? The real sense of the life is to feel that your eyes are the glaciers, your heart the ocean and your flesh is the land. The real sense of the life is the absolute connection with the nature, the respect and the love for everything that surrounds us, for everything that was already before the humanity ruled the land.
This is a reflection of the French artists, which I share so much, with a very similar thought that I have before knowing this pretty band of rock metal.
I hope you like the song!
